Those overclocked results do not disappoint.

If I can pick one of these up for a worthwhile discount in the January sales (preferably £350), my next GPU might just be Nvidia after all. Just need to see what the AMD partners can come up with for keeping the R290 cooler.

Would be good if someone could confirm the power circuitry 'niggle'...still a massively impressive card, but would be good to see if it's an issue across all (or at least most) of these cards.

I still found the TV output quality (even as HDMI) better on AMD than on Nvidia.

Where you saw them £370? Because cheapest price is £395 pre-order

I can only assume that they meant that they had seen a GTX780 for £370 (£377.74 on pre order @ SCAN) and not this particular card, otherwise I think someone was telling fibs... ;)

Seems bit tech were very conservative to their OC. With same OC settings hit 1201 core with 1293 boost on the first go. And betting bit fiddling going to pass the 1300 barrier.

FYI the one I got has Hynix VRAM not Samsung.

Awesome to hear that! Certainly seems like PNY is binning the chips for these cards to a very high level.

Have you experienced any noise coming from the power circuitry?

Not at all. Had no coil whine, which was bit prominent to my 7950
(until let the 7950 run 4 hours valley straight, which disappeared afterwards)

This card is pretty quiet also. Up to 65% fan speed cannot be heard over 4 Enermax Magma fans that are on the H100 radiator. And these are 18db fans working at full speed.

Above 65% fan you can hear the card over the Magma fans, but is more quiet than the 7950 PCS+ and nothing to bother you about, if you wear headphones. Have it with fan profile working at 80% at 60C and holding there while overclocked.

    Btw the ASIC is 78.7%.
