Seeing those just reminds me hoe=w Pob really was the weirdest looking thing ever! I can't believe I actually used to watch that show
Ok not for nothing but...after seeing those pictures i am truely afraid Who is that? Was it a popular kids show back in the day? Lets see if the US guys can remember the great space coaster
Oh and who remembers burtha..... http://www.jediman.free-online.co.u...tha/Bertha_Exhibition/Bertha_Exhibition.htm&1
Yep, Bertha was a classic too. I used to sit in the Front Room with my sister and sing the theme tune! Funny thing was, she is 12 years older than me!
Pob? Pob? umm... Have I missed something? I don't remember seeing it on TV.. When was it aired? What channel? Someone please tell me they remember spatz...!!! I used to like Bertha too, from what I remember BBC didn't show it much.. I remember superted and bananaman (eugh!!) Also, anyone remember sharky and george? the intro with the fish of liberty brought a chill down my spine - I was only 5 lol.
I do believe that it's from 'The Cities of Gold' Top Cartoon - Ran for about a million episodes, but the Beeb never aired all of the them...
Re: Pob? POB was on C4, Late 80's. I saw something on that top 100 kids shows a while back, where the creator of Pob insisted that he was breathing on the screen to fog it up..... But we all know he was really gobbing all over it! Sharky & George? Ahhh - 'Seacargo, Land of Fishy Mobsters'
Re: Pob? sharky & George was the best cartoon on TV... i used to get up just to watch it sharky and george... the crimebusters of the sea.... shark and george can solve any mystery..... da da da da di dum dum di di dum
my fav was always jayce and the wheeled warriors!!!! "lightning strikes!!!!!!!!" "theres a power that comes from deep inside of you, every day your reaching for the light, and you know theres a long long road ahead of you, but if your wheels get you there, things'll turn out right!!!!!!!" "WHEEEL WARRIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORS!!!!!" and i thought it was mysterious cities of gold.
Re: Pob? I remember Spatz. There were only 39 episodes (originally in french, translated to english) cool site ... and the Beeb aired all of them. It was. I have 31 of them on CD! I wish I could find the other 8.
nooooooooo, i didnt mention them as i thought Thundercats was a bit girlie, and He-Man didnt realy have any apeal on me
Re: Re: Pob? It certainly felt like millions of episodes, when you're a kid and the episodes only come one a week... but maybe I missed some - although I'm pretty sure they didn't show the penultimate episode, which was daft, as that was the one where they actualy found the City! Or maybe I'm going senile - I have just turned 30....
