Thundercats? Girly? He-Man? No appeal? Blasphemy! :D

Hehe, Thundercats kicked ass :), as did Hong Kong Phooey.

Damn, they really don't make kid's tv like they used to...... Teletubbies? Whassat all about?

(Ok, that's preschool, and I have to admit that Arthur kicks ass (hey, I'm just a big kid at heart :D) and Sabrina, while not *really* being a kiddie show is helluva good, although the Salem puppet is about as poor as you could get without using a sheet of cardboard with the text "black cat" written on it :hehe:)

Interesting He-Man Fact My Boss Told Me Earlier:

Mattel starts a production of action figures all based on the Conan the Barbarian film. Not even being released at the time the figures don't turn out much like Conan and Co at all. They make the He-Man cartoon to sell the figures.

Now that may not be deadly accurate, but I reckon it's about right. Anyone know any more on that?

I don't know of that exactly, although it sounds right, somehow....

I know that the cartoons stemmed from action figures, so I suppose that extension makes sense (it ain't the least believeable thing I've heard today, put it that way :p)

    What happened was....

The film (Conan) got pitched and sounded like a bit of a kids deal (well think about it, it would really) and Mattel got in on the action figure deal.

Then the film gets made, Mattel sees it and goes 'HOLY CRAP! We cant sell kids toys off the back of this!' So not to waste there huge invetsment, they make a few tweaks to the lineup, start their own series, and Bobs your uncle out comes He-Man.

Bradford, the first is Centurions (easy :p) but the second I always forget the name of. Always. Although I have an action figure somewhere of the Snake Hologram'd guy. That show used to scare me for some reason :blah:

MASK was great, my mate has most of the toys :D
