Pocket watch. A school project

    Definitely not a final version, hate how the glass (what glass?) looks like.

    Bad camera angle, sorry for the ugly edge on lower half. 3dsmax9, Brazil R/S, Photoshop.

    I think it looks nice :)


    I think the upper circle looks a bit strange, though. It's like it sits on an angle relative to the lid itself. Oh, and the etch of the eagle could be a bit clearer, maybe?

    Maybe get the "outer shell" (hexagon) of the watch to look less "flat" would probably help.

    Will the final version have some kind of chain?

    Yup it does look a bit off. Badly positioned camera and so on. :p Gotta find a better "american eagle" picture.

    Was thinking about that. But everyone and their grandfather have round pocket watches.

    Nope. But next project will, a more traditional looking pocket watch.

    I meant that the shape is good, but it looks thin. (thickness of the material)
