Networks Port dead on switch?

    DLink DGS-1005D


    seems port 5 doesn't want to do anything - don't know why it just stopped ;(

    light come but nowt.


    any idea`s?

    Try another cable or two, they're usually the weakest link.

    Reflow it in the microwave.

    Won't work. You'll see sparks.

    Gas/Convection/Electric Oven is what you want to reflow it in if you're going down that path.

    nah swapped it over as I only need 4 ports , but have replaced it with a netgear switch for £4
