Networks Port forward WRT320n

    Hi guys!

    im trying to open port 25565 on my WRT320N, so i can play minecraft ! ^^

    but the problem is that ive tryed to open a port in my router and its set to enable.. but if i use software like Nmap i cant detect port 25565 it seems to be closed - any suggestions?

    go to www.portforward.com and look up your router and it will give you instructions on how to port forward specificly on your router.

    you may even be able to tailor the instructions for minecraft if its in the list

    Yep ive alredy done that.. and nothing happands..

    if you go to ping.eu and port test does that say closed too ?

    have you double checked the settings ? is it TCP in/out or UDP in/out ?

    is the port forward going to the correct IP address ?

    hmm this is strange.. it says the port is open.. but ive got 2 routers.. a small zyxel router wich has a open 25565 port - and my linksys WRT320N afterwards..

    so its:

    Zyxel router ----> WRT320N ------> Computer

    and ye its the correct IP adress and TCP/UDP is set to both.

    why the 2 routers ?

    have your forwarded in both router to same IP

    also check your firewall settings as this could be a block too

    ahh.. it seems like its the firewall.. so it works now! thanks a lot mate!
