can anyone who have been playing this all morning (such as ^^^ at chapter 6) tell me:

at which chapter does tutorial end?

i am eager to get into co-op, just want to know what is the requirement so that we will not run into unknown game mechanics.

By the start of Chapter 6 none of the gels have been introduced.

It took me 2.4hours of game play to get this far so I haven't been playing all morning.

I'm currently on 8 (I think, well, I know I passed 8). They introduced a new mechanic around chapter 6 or 7. It was never on the videos and it takes a few minutes to understand so I recommend getting to at least there.

The Coop walks you through all the stuff, but I advise playing the Single Player first, only to get you used to the more ridiculous combinations you may have to come up with.

Any chance if anyone could tell me whether portal 2 is more taxing system specs wise than Episode 2?
The only system specs I can find (admittedly from behind works firewall) for Portal 2 are similar/the same as the recommended ones for episode 2, but i cant seem to find minimum/recommended breakdowns.

Basically if a system can manage Episode 2, will it manage Portal 2?

P.S. yes, my PC is severly underpowered by todays standards.

Finished it. OMG. Somebody go to Valve HQ and shake everyone's hand before giving them all a hug. That was amazingly awesome.

Just finished. Valve outdid themselves. And finally the 'potato sack' thing makes sense to me!

    Spaaaaaaaace!
    Couldn't resist. :3

Still an amazing game, just re-played the last half of it, because I spent so much time figuring out the puzzles there that I didn't really appreciate the rest of the game.

Gabe Newell looks like he'd be fun to hug, like a big teddy bear. I'm just too chicken to try and find out what the repercussions are. :D

Also, massive amounts of hate for all of you. Still a few hours before I can play. :waah:

Anyone found any of the hidden areas i've got two rat man dens and the hidden portrait. Still trying to find the missing experiment.

Thought the game its self was brilliant best humour i've seen in a video game nad level design and pacing were perfect for me. Only annoyance i have is the loading screens are far too constant though that could be the source engine showing its age. Other problem is i get regular microstuttering most often when any blobs of gel are present but that's probably an NVIDIA driver issuew rather than a problem with the game.

Just finished it, and i´ll probably have a big grin on my face all evening :D
The humor was great, the puzzles harder and the ending was by far the best.

Gets my vote for Goty !
