I am gonna be upgrading my server from scratch because I don't want to do upgrades. Currently I have Windows 2000 Server, SQL 2000, Exchange 2000, and IIS .NET running as far as main services go.

I am going to be upgrading to Windows 2003 server, Exchange 2003, then putting SQL 2000 and IIS back up.

I only have 1 server which does everything cause I cant afford 2. I do however have a regular system I could use just for the time it takes to get the upgrade done. This is still a problem though I think.

With my server I have it setup with 3 partitions but I am running RAID 1 on 2 of my drives for redundancy.

basically my question is, is there an EASY way short of redoing everything on another computer so I don't have any downtime.

    Easy answer: no.

Why not just do an upgrade? Much less downtime, and you can upgrade one component at a time. The end result will be the same.

    Cheers
