So, my laptop won't charge the battery anymore. Still runs fine when the charger is connected, so the charger works and the internal psu is fine. Got two batteries, both displays as "charging" in windows, but don't take any charge. When power is disconnected they still are as low as when inserted. Have tried charging both overnight with laptop off, still nothing. So, most probably the charging circuit is damaged. Anyone here ever tried to fix one? Haven't opened my laptop yet, want to hear some feedback from you first.. Have been a lot of thunderstorms lately, this could be the problem.. Any idea what might fail in the charging circuit in such circumstanses?
