I try: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showpost.php?p=1852214&postcount=65 with the PS1 screen: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showpost.php?p=1852661&postcount=68 John
"Picture-frame" as monitor I am interested in this concept too, to see into the engineroom on my boat. I'm not concerned about refresh rate, and my PC's all have S-VHS output. Could also use these screens directly connected to CCTV cameras ... or any Composite video source ? Thanks
Someone has, but it's not cheap at $226. Go to http://www.aeicomp.com/ and click on LCD Modules. Then you want to check out the ALCD35VGAN. Its native resolution is 640x480 and has a VGA input (and two RCA Video inputs). It also has a control module and built-in menu. It's actually a really product and scaled down (as best it could) the higher resolutions. They also have a touch-screen version of this display too. Bear in mind, you get the electronics - no housing and no power supply. I even had to ask AEI for the spec sheet just to get its power requirements. Cheers!
Just a theory, but would one of these do? http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/MIMO-UM-710-USB-powered-interfaced-7-TFT-Swivel-Mini-Display-Black
