If there is already a thread like this, oh well. If not, it's time there was one.

    Anyway, here's mine.

Can you mod in CAD? No, you design. Yes to metal work, electronics and woodwork. No to graphic design unless it's not on a computer.

    Is it really that hard?

Wow you've got it all; band saw, table saw, scroll saw, drill press table sander, bench grinders, radial arm saw, planer, router table, and miter saw :hip:

I wish I had those kinds of tools.

My workspace is often whatever isn't cluttered up. My garage is so messy I don't dare show pics. It looks like a hardware store after an earthquake.

You forgot the jointer. :p I really want one of them but they're so damn expensive...

I might have to show off mine... its decent. I have an ancient lathe, a table saw, a band saw, a small planer, a really small belt sander, 2 air compressers, a drill press... I think thats about it.

I've only got a 18V hammer drill, 18V circ saw, 18V sawzall, 18V jigsaw, 2.25HP router (w/ fixed and plunged bases as well as a router table), 4x24 belt sander (not table sander), 1/2 sheet finishing sander, 1/4 sheet detail sander, 4 1/2" angle grinder, and a dremel

All these tools except the dremel are Bosch tools.

Me too. I used to love having a basement when I lived in Colorado. In Houston a basement would fill with water.:sigh:

I live in Colorado between Denver and Boulder and we have 2 sump pumps in the basement to keep it dry! Someday I'll have to tell you about buying a house and not knowing what a sump pump was. Flood #1 and #2. Not fun. Sump pumps run 365 days a year. That's why there are 2. House is built on top of underground streams.:duh:

Yikes! Guess that house is built on the *wrong* spot. Lived in Colorado/Denver area most of my life but never had a problem with water like that in the basement.
