Too little too late this time around, figured I'd post anyhow.

Great tonal range in the black and white egg. I really love the thin hair light on the top right edge!

Got to say, I love the flower shot.
The DoF is just about perfect and the composition is spot on.

Can't say the buttons work for me though, they just don't hold my interest, however, technically they are good shots.

    Thank you, yoda.

The intention of this set was to utilize ordinary, bland, simplistic objects, and base the entire shot on composition, lighting and treatment alone. Therefore what makes the image is the entirety of image itself, not the object the picture is of. In other words, the subject ordinarily would seem unworthy of a photograph, but with some creative license it can become interesting. I feel that every photographer should take the time to sit and photograph simple, otherwise uninteresting subjects and come up with ways to convey them as works of art. It is an excellent way to exercise the eye and practice compositional methods.

I love the coloured egg. Have you got a coloured version of the flower? Or did it not look right?

    Lovely shots anyway, wonderful sharpness.

Why is it that when a B&W version is posted, the colour version always looks better? :D
