Marilyn got the new small tree started. Up on an end table out of the new puppy's reach(almost:duh:). She says it needs lots more.

I think we put Vinyl and twisted wire on the endangered species list this year. The 8 footer is still in the basement. We are hoarding plastic trees for when the market goes back up. :D:thumb::rock:

Ours should be going up later today all being well. I went through a phase of being a real humbug between 19 and 24. My first tree after moving out of home was called the drinking tree and was decorated with empty tinnies and bottles, bottle of jack was the "star"
Now we have children the magic of Christmas is well and truly back. They are so excited about putting up the tree and father Christmas coming, it is really very sweet and has reawoken my Christmas spirit.
If the tree goes up pics will follow...

I have no idea when we're going to put our up, mid December seems like a good time, so probably then.

I am surprised at the amount of fake trees. I will get a pick of our tree when it goes up, but that won't be until about the 16th.

At least another 10 days, more likely won't go up until the 24th. Later it goes up the less chance of it landing on an inquisitive toddler before Christmas day!

Plan to go and get our tree on the 15th.

We always manage to get one that is far too large though, I swear they grow on the way home, always look a good normal size at the garden centre but when we get it home it fills half the living room!

My 3 year old daughter was mortified when I brought home our tree on saturday. She watched the Lorax recently and is really worried that he will be sad that a tree was chopped down. I guess i better not buy her a thneed for christmas :D

It's a synthetic tree, we purchased it during summer for 99.99$ at Costco.

    It's never to early for Christmas...NEVER !

F**CK the police ! In mi home, the tree is assembled the 1st of December and is dismounted after the Epiphany.
