I'm assuming that everyone here has either been so desperate for something to eat, or totally plastered, that they created their own concoction out of odds and sods from the fridge and cupboards.

So. as the title says, give me your recipe, and the effect it has on you

My favourite meal so far is a chicken and peanut butter sandwhich, warmed in the microwave, 'licous

However a gummy rings toasty not only caused a searing burning agony as the melted gummy exploded into my mouth, but it tasted utterly foul.

PS. i WILL try these recipes so do let me know beforehand how they went ;)

    [EDIT]
also, later tonight i am going to make the hottest ever chilli con carne. hot enough so that even i will struggle ;) i will post it and i will fill a new glass of water each time to show you how bad it was

Not really mine, but give a triple fried-egg chilli-chutney sandwich a try. Awesome.

Curried sausage isn't really a new invention - it's a big thing in Germany to have Currywurst. Often served with a proper sauce, as opposed to just a sprinkling of curry powder as Wiki says.

That ain't exactly experimental now, I know a guy who's refined those thing to an artform(although they're still mank if you ask me :D)

I'm not really sure what's interesting that I've done, but I'll stick practically any ingredient in a bacon an' egg sandwich once.

None of that vegetable stuff though I hope. Meat is where it's at.

EDIT: I was browsing the wide range of foodstuffs at the local BP garage today and I saw they were selling a 'Glucose energy drink'. Decided to take a look at the ingredients and it was basically fizzy water and sugar.
    Rank, absolutely rank.

What about veggies with your cooked meals like a roast?
Corn on the cob is where it's at too.

i was thinking of asking Tim S if we could have a section for food a while ago, where people could post there recipes etc, share the power of food ^^

anyone think maybe? i have a lot of recipes and wouldn't mind giving a few pictured guides to essential world foods =)

Sounds like a decent idea. Home and cookery section, Full of your DIY and cooking disasters. I'd enjoy it and contribute!

My personal favourite is chicken in gravy with pasta. Man i was hungry.

Think the best dish is rice and beans though. Costs all of ~20p and fills you up. Add peas and you could even class it as healthy.

Probably costs a bit more, but the best cheap meal is corned beef hash.
Tin of beef, onion, potato. fry it all-so awesome. Best with a fried egg on top :D
