I thought this could be quite interesting to see what apps people have installed, what they use most etc. I tend to have everything i use daily on the first page followed by 2 pages of apps i use occasionally.

    I'll start with mine...

Hold down the sleep button and then press the home button to take a screenscot of the screen.

Nice thread idea, I'm surprised to see nobody has replied. No iPhone users out there in bit-tech? Come on out, don't be shy! :)

Mine is frankly not that different from the vanilla install layout, because I have had a first gen iPhone since launch way back in 07, and back then you couldn't move or add icons and apps, so I have gotten used to it as it is and suppose am very sensitive to change ;)

It'll have a nice wallpaper instead of the lame black one as soon as the Dev Team releases the official 3.0 jailbreak and the apps get updated.. I'm still on the Beta >.>

Clock app is useful for the timer. I put it on when cooking, so I can upstairs, leave the oven to do its thing and watch TV or game :)

Not sure how long voice memos will stay on page 1, only just got that with the 3.0 update. Most used apps are probably Tweetie (for Twitter), Mail, Safari, iPod, and link to Bloglines for RSS.

my home screen (springboard page 1) is generic iPhone 2.2.1 without Contacts, with addition of Zenbe list and an empty space. soon it'd be generic 3.0 (exactly the same as a new phone) without Contacts but all icons will be exactly where a new iphone would be.

i prefer original state, don't like change/customisation you see.

    How is tweetie?

Twitterfon is okay, but I get an inordinate amount of connection errors with it.

I love Tweetie on the iPhone, it's superb - my favourite way to access Twitter (even over web, desktop clients etc). Simple interface, nice handling of fonts, easy to post pics and to sort replies etc. Never had any issues with connection problems either.
