We live in a new(ish) house and our exchange is miles down the road on the other side of Alloa thus the useless download speeds.

Still as I work for BT, I don't pay for my broadband package and therefore can't really complain as it is otherwise rock solid. Roll on FTTC for the Alloa exchange is all I can hope for (no plans yet).

I moved up here just over two years ago... previously I lived in Cardiff where I had cable broadband since 2000. In fact my parents still have the same broadband package (10MB) and I ensure I take my laptop down for updating etc when I visit them.

Fastest speed I can get where I live, DSL in Ireland is atrocious and cable's only available in large built up areas :(

Not my best results, but about average. It's a 15/2 package.

Sadly I cannot use any torrent software.
It is blazing fast for everyday use though.

    ^2.416 mbs
    <0.376 mbs
    Ping 38ms

We've only had that 2.4 for last couple of weeks. Prior to that we got anything from .5 to 1.4 max! Anything over 3 or 4 mbs is something we can only dream of!

o2 20MB - really not happy with this, but living far from the exchange doesn't help

Hmm bit low today but it is Saturday. Not bad considering I was told I'd get no more than 3.5.

I am on a 8Mb package that costs me £13
