My work connection (campus)
BT fibre - 40mb up - 10mb down
Really pleased with my connection, I only live about 100 metres from the exchange.
10 Mb Virgin Package £13.50/m
My Home ISP...
Scuppy what broadband package are you on?
Server ^^ Tier 1 providers, as well the London Internet Exchange (LINX)
i'm on the basic Home 25Gb package, its good compared to what the other ISPs have given me.
the downsides of living in a village a million miles from the nearest exchange
Sky Broadband in London - not bad!
Exchange capacity is 2Mb and the line is prehistoric so not a bad result
Virgin media 10m package, always been like that apart from when its peak time it goes down to about 2 mb.
DSL in CLEVELAND, OHIO
Considering I'm about 4.1km (line length) from the exchange and Sky said I could get a speed of 0 this isn't too bad.
Seems to be a bit faster today, usually only just 3Mb. Line supposedly should only provide 2Mb, and the local cabinet floods when it rains, so not a bad speed.
BT is so much better than TalkTalk. I do blame the router I had before, however.
