    Left: Hercules ATi 9800SE AIW
Right: XFX nVidia 6600GT Dual DVI

Card on the right today replaced the card on the left for the sole reason of the need for dual DVI due to the 2nd LGL1710b turning up next week. :D I don't game, like, ever so, apart from the Matrox G650, this was [near enough] the cheapest option. The AIW's been a sweet card and served me well for the last 18 months or so. I'll miss the VIVO functionality of it but that should hopefully soon be replaced by my networked PVR. :)

Weird, I have FX 5900XT MSI and it runs HL2 with no problem at 1280*1024.

well i was running it without the fan on it for a while, but only at stock speeds, and i didnt play a game on it as i didnt trust it to handle the heat as my case has no sort of cooling in it yet. the previous owner onl had it as a htpc card so didnt play games on it and wanted silence too.
it was idling at 52c with out the fan on it, now its at 44c, but i feel a bit better now theres a fan on it to go ahead and play a game on it.
i can update this post later if you wish to know the load temps on it
    :)

Ok... I'll play! Presenting my Voodoo2, 8 MB graphics card.

Yes, that's a PII. Yes, those are ISA slots. And yes, I've surfed the internet on that system. My home network's a but wonky ATM, so I'm using my laptop with its 9700 mobility instead.

Here's mine...I have a 9800Pro 256MB version, but I flashed it to an XT. I still have yet to check and see which core it is, and I also am planning on buying the artic silencer rev. 3 to cool it, as it likes to overheat during CS:S at high res.
