    You don't need much of a circuit for a Pin-39 mod. The 39th pin is a ground line that is switched on and off rapidly depending on the level of drive activity for that drive. So all you need is a 5V or less power source, something to power (like and LED on a resistor), and an extension for the 39th pin line. I did this in my project and it works great. I never tried it with an optical drive though.

    Sorry if somone had done this already and there possibly something on the net but i checked.


    Does anyone have a guide how to make your own mousepad? like a quality one suited to optical mice as my ratpad has gone completely smooth in most areas.

    You could always get a custom one printed. (e.g. at photobox.com)

    Yeah but something you make yourself! Cause i cant shell out another 30$ for a mousepad.

    The best mousepad I've ever used is nothing more than a $1 recycled fiber clipboard.

    but i dont exactly know where to find these 1$ fiber clipboard mousepads do I? I remember seeing a guide awhile ago now about making one out of waxpaper?

    sounds like a good idea to me! :eek: but...what exactly do you mean by your "song selection tool" i hear it reads...rancid but i guess that'd explain why your going in the shower? Im lost...

    I recently bought a second hand mobo and case, but don't have the back I/O panel to match this mobo - any easy ways to make one?

    i'm looking for a great guide how to engrave plexi. Which (dremel)tools i should use etc.
    'Cause I want to engrave a drawning of mine into some plexi and mount it in my case.
    I didn't find one yet.

    Anyone helps me about Touch Screen Kiosk?

    I have a thesis to graduate at university. My thesis is writting a program for touch screen kiosk. I just need to write an application that runs on PC, but I have to explain how that application can run on Kios. What the technique Kios support to do that?
