Guides I would like to see are:
    • An Advanced Baybus ciruit using microcontrolers (eg PICs) (also have a text lcd eg a 16x2 or a 20 x2 so that it will fit in a single drive bay) (like the Digidoc 5)
    • A 12V PSU for a car computer
    • IDE to CF ciruit (bootable too)

thats all i can think of atm

I would really like a how-to on using a car remote or something similar to turn on your computer. I saw the door bell guide, but I would really like something I can fit on my key ring. Also there is not much extra space left in my case after I installed my watercooling.

I would like to know how to replace my led's in my fancontroller (Ac Ryan Fan Controller2 4x aluminium Silver Acr-Fc5859) because if my fans are off now the led's are blue. @1/4 power they are green, and 1/4 and more power they are red. And I want them off = blue color, and the rest must be green:D

So how can I replace the red led for a green one ( plz explain it to me I am a Uber n00b so every tip is welcome :thumb:

    PSU extension

I want to set up a modded server and was wondering...... if i put a couple motherboards in one case - could I bridge the power supply to hop across each? What would power from one PSU be sufficient? Any ideas on what I need/recommend/use to accomplish this? Or any good resources/articles... thanks

ZapWizard: This is the mod I must have of yours:

Making all those custom connections for power, keyboard, mouse, USB ports, sound, and maybe parallel, if you made that.

I may even pay for that one, hehe. ;)

    Its pretty simple I think.

    I'll use a ps2 mouse for example.

You take one of the pins on a ps/2 port, solder a wire to it, run a wire to a pin on a new connector. On the mouse, you cut off the ps/2 connector, and wire each wire inside the mouse to one of the pins on the new connector that corresponds with the other new connector

Hope you understand that, it rambles on a bit

I'd like a guide to put an LCD from a pocket PC into a PC and get it to work as a second monitor. I have a Dell Axim, and when it dies/I get a replacement, I want to put the LCD in the top panel of my case.

Something I would like to see so I could design it into my next project, a good tutorial on using servos to perform basic actions for the pc (in my case opening the intake vents at startup, and closing them when shutting down). I know this sort of thing is out there (ie. mashie's Y2KBug), I just don't know how to do it, or what parts i'd need to get to make something like this work. help?

    I'm down with that, Richman...

On the same lines, and I know I have seen it done too many times (but I cannot find any after several hours of looking) the 80 - 120 mm fans that people are putting in the front of their PC's. That part is easy. It is the tubing portion that runs from the fan to the front of the bezel. Are there kits out there that I am missing? people using PVC pipes? butter tubs?

    What? :wallbash:

    Thanks for the assist!

I'm using a clost flang. Just bring in your fan and go to the closet flang section (plumbing) and line it up. You will have to cut off the metal (or plastic) ring on the flang.
