No RAW --I shoot in .JPG (blasphemy, I know!)...

Don't know, but it was on top of a big hill (best place for a windmill) in Lancashire.

I'll try not to slap you with a haddock simply because I am a pacifist. But know that mentally, you're getting it right across the jaw. ;) Buy that nice camera and the shoot JPG...*grumble, mumble*

Anyhow. Email it to me pls, I need high res ;)

nowt wrong wi' shooting in jpeg. RAW is fine an all (i use it too), but it's often used as a bit of a safety net by beginners to rescue horribly gone wrong images. if you nail an exposure exactly how you wanted it, JPEG is a time-saving advantage.

    also! cool shot :)

:sigh: no no no no no. :p But this has been explained countless times and I needn't browbeat it again in Nexxo's cool picture thread. RAW is a lot more than a rescue button!!! :)

    Raw+JPEG works great :)

    It eats memory, though...

Always RAW unless I'm firing off hundreds of shots in a sports event which I know will have very few keepers and barely any PP necessary.
