I kept most of the glass from when I went through quite a few whn playing with my sound trigger, planned to use it for some still lifes at some point. these are the first few I finally got round too.

    glass from bottle

    glass and water

both are a combination of 2 shots I couldn't get the glass to actually pour out of the bottle at an even rate so added the bottle from 1 shot to another shot where the glass was in a stream. The second shot has the water being poured from 1 shot and the glass from the previous one. What do you think? I think I've inadvertantly made the water shot too bright and might need to kill the brightness a bit.

i think you did a very good job
you might be right about the water being too bright
    maybe try adding some color?
and last thing, in the 2nd shot the water doesn't appear in the reflection on the surface ;)

It does... It's just not as easy to tell as the sharp edged glass shards.
Edit: Although it looks like it's an earlier frame from when the water was initially poured that has been used as reflection?

yeah the reflection is two shots combined as well as the main glass, I'd added the water stream but forgot about the water in the glass itself.

Fixed below, and made it slightly darker
