Ive just laid my eyes upon a thing of sheer beauty - a Tagan TG480-U01 480W PSU - reviews are extremely positive and its available from scan.co.uk for only £65 inc. vat and delivery.
German made, too, so no question marks over its reliability. Oh, and a 3 year warranty. Looks flippin SOLID too, so maybe worth a look?

I have a similiar system to you, Kingabs. I am only using an antec 300W right now. but will be upgrading to a 400w soon. The only big differences we have are: two hdds, GeForce fx 5600 128 meg, 2.4C @ 3.3, 2x 512 Corsair, Zalmon CNPS7000-AlCu

It really depends on the quality of the PSU. Also, the ambient temp in your room will make a difference. Also, the quality of your power will make a difference too. I notice about 10% difference of stability when I have my computer connected to my CyberPower UPS. It is only good for 350W, but does its job fine.

I could recomend Antec I suppose, I hear they are good. And mine has surprised me, it only being a 300W with all my junk... well, ok, I guess a nice new dvd burner and a gig of ram, etc. isn't really junk ;) It has served me well, and will be put into my backup server.
