OK, I have ordered a 10.4" LCD for use in a little project I am planning, and I have a question. I'm no electronics expert (by a long shot!) so if I'm talking gibberish please correct me!

The LCD needs a 12v 2a power adaptor. So my question is, would it be possible to run this from the computer's PSU, and if so, how?

Any help on this would be great!

    Thanks
    Matt

I may be rong never done one myself but if it doesn't go over the stated values on the side of the psu iu should be able to run it off of a molex.

Thanks for that! I know one of the cables from the molex will give me the 12v but will it be at 2a? Or does this even matter?

like i said look at the sticker on the side of your PSU, it will give the ratings for all the cables.
