Wouldn't go near it tbh, you get what you pay for with PSU's, it's very unlikely that it will be any good

According to the specs, the rails don't look very meaty, so I wouldnt bother if you wanna use it to power a top-notch computer. If its for something less demanding, by all means give it a go, doesnt cost much after all.
Its probably like the Q-Tec PSUs - fine for a cheap, slower system, but suicide for a faster, more expensive one.
Make of that what u will :D

Basically, I've an Asus V333 motherboard with a Barton 2500xp and 512Mb Ram.

The only cards I have are an old 64Mb Radeon (7000?) and a network card.

It also has a USB powered Scanner and Modem.

I'll overclock the processor to about 2200Mhz, but it's still a prety weedy system.

    Hmmm, decisions, decisions!!!!

I really want to make the PC as close to silent as I can. If this PSU does that, then as long as it doesn't keep cutting out or something then it should be OK.

I just don't want one which will keep rebooting for no reason or something like that.

Will my system be stable with this PSU?

Get an Antec True Power 330. I have the 430 and it has been utterly rock solid :)

Antecs are about 3 times as expensive tho - if u can afford it, go for the Antec, otherwise stick to the cheapo supply and forget about overclocking - its pushing up the core voltage that usually frustrates the cheaper PSUs.

voltage on frustrates the cheapys when its on the ram voltage, i've got a REALLY cheap 400w PSU and its been good to me, though its noise as hell

If you are near sheffield city centre then go n2c systems on west street next to the cavendish. i got a 350watt psu for £20 (OMG SHOCK HORROR CHEAP ASS PSU) but it's fine. it has high amp ratings on all lines, 28A and 35A on the 3.3v and 5v lines. it's perfectly fine and a temp sensing fan so is quiet. plus you dont have to pay for postage. and if it fails, which i doubt, it was only £20. It holds all my rails to an acceptable level and i've had my vcore at 2.175 and it was fine. I have found that BIOS versions have a more immediate affect on the rails. anyway... seeing as though you are in sheffield thought it might help. lol [/end rant]
