would it be possible to mod a ciggarette lighter button in a car to be a power switch, and would anyone have any idea how to go about doing this? hehe
i'm sure it is possible, to answer your question. i would recommend hooking one of the regular momentary push-button switches from radio shack, maplin, etc... to the elecrical system in place of the wires, mount it inside where the lighter was, and attach the handle of the lighter with crazy clue or double sided tape to the switch. that way you can push your stealthed switch to complete your circuit and (this is speculation) power up your in car mp3 box.
