Ok, so I have a AMD64 4400+ x2 running on an A8N-Sli Deluxe. My problem is that whenever the computer is powering on it all lights up and I hear a small squeak then it immediatly powers down. After about 4 attempts to power it on it will no longer attempt to start until I pull the electricity from the PSU. I cannot hear where the squeak is coming from cause its very faint. Any and all assistance would help greatly, I'm sure my dad would appreciate his computer working. Specs: A8N-SLI Deluxe AMD 64 4400+ x2 Souond Blaster Audigy 2zs BFG Geforce 7800 GT Ultra X-connect 500watt psu Corsair PC3200 512x2 After a few hours of pushing the button over and over it will manage to start up. I've checked out all the connections, reseated the ram/gpu and rewired it completely.
