    mine seems to get hot after being on for a hour or so, but i found it perfectly fine for watching a dvd in bed on my lap for 3 hours (gladiator)

    it gets toasty, but no more than a windows based laptop or any laptop i've ever used for that matter


    (15.4" mbp)


    the non-pro macbooks are very nice, but nowhere near as fast as the pro versions (obviously)

    either way, all nice pieces of kit

    Erm actually they are very close to the pros in spec. Its pretty much only the ram and graphics that are different.
