I really don't understand what the problem is with this one. Powerdvd plays DVDs fine, but when playing a Blu-ray (usually after about 30mins), the system will just crash. I can then resume playback from where I left off by restarting Powerdvd, but give it another 20 - 40 minutes and it'll just crash again.

I think i've managed to watch one film successfully without any crashes.

    Does anybody have any ideas?

    Cheers.

i recently found out the cause of my powerdvd problems, i was sceptical, but it worked, one of the visual c files had been replaced by something with an older version, i reinstalled visual c, and power dvd, and the catalyst drivers, and (touching wood) it's been fine since.

x86 version 64 bit available at bottom of that page
