I tried tidying inside my case this weekend and most of the cable mess is from 2 dual cold cathode kits. Could I use either of these: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=37753&TabID=1&source=15&WorldID=&doy=20m1212v dc converter maplins 2 If not can anyone suggest something (from maplins, RS or farnell) that I could use instead? Needs to be fairly small though, approx 50*50*25. Thanks.
They're for small mains fluorescent tubes running off a car alternator. Nowt to do with CCFL lamps. The second thing is 10 switchers, it will still need 10 inverters for CCFL.
Dammit. I saw "12v" and "flourescent lamp" and in my excitement/naivety thought they would be good for computer lights. Thanks for setting me straight, looks like I'll have to get creative with hiding the cables and inverters.
What i did in mine is get a nice alu project box from maplins and put them all in there, bit of braiding and alittle time with the drill hides my inverters and other circuits , and its slap bang in the middle of the case more or less and looks good
