    Hey folks.

I've just upgraded my rig to a i5-2500k and have lots of components to donate to my sister. So I'm planning a computer for her built round a Q6600 (overclocked currently to 3.35GHz) with a pre-overclocked 8800GT. The only things I actually need to buy her are the OS and a PSU and I was wondering what the forum experts thought would be an acceptable PSU?

I was considering a Corsair CX430 but not sure it will have quite enough juice. I'm probably going to bring down the oc on the Q6600, but need to at least power it on first to be able to do this!

Any other choices? Needs to be as cheap as possible!

Agreed, it's a good PSU and it's more than enough, computers use less power than you think! I have the same series PSU at 600W powering my 2500K rig with a 560Ti and even on full load it's only drawing about 370W. Granted the Q6600 will probably use more juice but even so, you are fine.
