    Throughput

I'd like to know throughputs too. Real world performance, what speeds to people see across these links?

I'm currently using several on my home network, and they work very well. I used them to connect my main router to a secondary router in another part of the house to which my DVR, Xbox 360, and PS3 are connected. This router also rebroadcasts the wireless signal, as the wireless signal was extremely poor in that part of my house. I also have a computer connected via powerline, and a network printer as well.

Overall, I am pleased with the results. I experience no lag while gaming online on the PS3 and Xbox, and videos stream to the DVR fairly quickly (I am using 200Mbps powerline adapters, so that may be the reason for the good speeds). However, if you are a heavy video streamer (especially HD), you might see better results by running a CAT6 cable to the computer.

I use Netgear XEB1004. Would recommend them to anyone. The XEB1004 is two adapters, the XE104, is the same, but just one adapter if you want to add extra.

I am currently using 4, that run 6 pc's/laptops throughout the house.. Haven't experienced any issues with them.

I've tried cheap (Dynamode) 85Mbps plugs (£50 per pair) which worked reasonably in one house and not very well in another. Moving up to the Devolo 200Mbps plugs (£100 per pair) was far better, in normal usage they're just as good as cable and can easily stream hires audio and video.
