    Yeah, I gotta school project I've got due soon and I need to make a powerpoint thing, except pp is a commercial project so I would have to buy the whole thing to make this single slide im assumming right?

    Is there any alternitive that either
    A)Is compatable with powerpoint (I can open it at school or
    b) A free alterntitive that I can put a viewer on a cd if I need too. Thanks in advance. :rock:

    But can I create powerpoint presentations on it? And 64 megs... ouch... dialup :waah:

    yes you can
    its basically all the same programs as ms office but open source and a little different, you can open and save to the ms office formats
    and yes ouch (dialup too)
