I am working on converting a desktop computer in to a laptop. The PC uses I think a non standard power supply. It is a HP Pavilion 3100 made in the 95ish times. Its I think 16 pins across two connections (8 per) they look a lot like AT style connectors, but the power switch connects directly to the motherboard so idk whats the deal with them apples susages. Anywho I am looking for a DC-DC powersupply that would work with this.

I think the chances of being able to find a PSU like that are slim. Your best bet would be buying an ATX one, then re-wiring the connector if possible. It might not work, but it could be worth trying.

Outside that, you might have to just re-mod the current PSU for some kind of solution.
