Of course, it's all backward. Sex sells, everyone is quite happy with that (as long as we don't talk about it). Yet they'll get upset if the kids get exposed to anything less than pristine. Let the kids watch dying kids in famine stricken areas, but don't let them watch anything with swearing or nudity in. The sooner we all just accept sexuality, the better off we'll be.
the way i see it is theres nothign wrong with porn, heck on german tv a good advert for a type of yougurt it to have a naked ladie getting pawed by 2 men, then she gets up & full frotnal as she walks to the fridge to get the yougurt its all society, somone on high in the uk decides that porn is bad, but whats page 3 or the lasses in the back of max power then nowt wrong with it, you never know it could actually hep teenagers learn that there is nothing funny anbout naked people & show that people are not so different under the clothes /me starts drooling, mmmmnaked ladies
I bet we've all got some one handed reading material tucked away somewhere, even those who aren't 18, trouble is what are you meant to do with that free hand ? I've never understood that at age 16 you can have sex, but can't look at other people having sex until your 18. My view is if your old enough to have it then your old enough to look. You'll never stop kids getting hold of it, no matter how hard you try and tell them "If you look at that stuff you'll go blind" That only makes matters worse!! Ever been told you can't have something and then it makes it all that more attractive so you get it anyway, all pyschology, if it's something forbidden you want it all the more, or so I saw on TV.
well it is a bit wierd when you think about it.. a 16 year old can have sex, but not look at someone else doing it? hmm
i dont think the thing about not seeing naked people can be true. after all, in school (sex education) they show us videos of ladies and men in the buff and things such as child birth(yes they show all the gore and yucky stuff to 15 year olds). there was even a presenter who exclaimed "this is my semen". thanks mate

Never had any lessons at school like that. It wa all biological in Sceince. I only left 6th form 2 or 3 years ago I doubt much has changed.
I think it is cool the lib democrats are doing that, it is kind of like giving up the fight, if you ask me. It's like yeah, we know we have a problem with premarital sex, and STDs and abortions, and all that mess, and that is a major deciding vote in presidential elections, but let's face it, if we were ever planning on instilling a moral code, we gave that up years ago and some how made the conservatives look bad for it... Anyway, we are going to crap anyway, so why not grab a few future votes while we are at it? What good ever came of looking at porn? (that lasted) The idea that relationships can be based on looks? The idea that maybe you shoudl strive for this great sex you see in the pictures? That it is no big deal to look at, mimic, support all that is going on? Once again, same arguments here could be used to support drugs... if you don't want the government to regulate what you do anyway, then fine, go somewhere that your government doesn't protect you. (i've got multiple friends that ruined their marriages over prOn, so I don't really tolerate it too much) I know you have to know how to separate it from reality, but why even bother?
