does anyone know where i can get pre watercooled cases, preferably a Lian Li, but any case will do. .icecube
no such thing?!? What the hell is this pc-60 with a z4 in it then? I have one on my computer rack... Cant say I recommend the w/c kit yet but the case is bad ass! watercooled lian li pc-65
with the koolance cases, they now have the cheiftec dragon case availiable with w/c built in, you could get one of these and then chuck your front pannel on instead (the should fit i think) and then you got ure nice case with w/c. ps if you cant find this case with koolance, dont ask me where it is! i saw the review of it in Atomic Magazine (australia)
If only The Overclocking STore did black Koolance chieftechs like they do in america. White is almost as attractive as beige ffs! Ug
I've seen mixed responses, some say their very good. Some say their crap. If anyone wants to clear it up then please do Ug
From where I stand it I would say that Koolance is not **** - what I understand is that the koolance is an 'adequate' but unexceptional 'quick fix'. There is no doubt that koolance will cool a rig it's just that most get into w/cing to get a quiet or high performance system. A system which has been assembled from carefully selected, separate components and installed in a modded case will, without a doubt, outperform any off the shelf solution. The koolance rig only wins if the main deciding factors are time/lack of experience and also, to an extent cost - though the difference between a home-grown and koolance rig is not large the koolance case and components are cheaper. I reckon it's a bit of a 'ya get what ya pay for' type thing... :dude:
the Swiftech Quiet Powers are a pretty neat p&p solution, but pricey and tbh better results and more fun can come from a self build
Most I have read about the Koolance (see hardocp review) say exactly what coolrunning says. The Swiftech Quiet Power gets my vote as it has a reasonable block, danner pump and heater core rad. But building your own is more fun. I think...
