I have been waiting for a long time for some competition to the Asus ROG Gene series, and with Z77 we finally get it. Except, by the looks of it:
    - only 4 SATA ports
    - no dedicated sound codec detectable, despite it saying so on the infocard
    - no onboard power/reset buttons, despite a claim that the whole range will have them
    - no mSATA, which should be the Gigabyte gimmick and added value for this series
    - no Killer NIC, despite the Sniper branding
    - 4-pin ATX power does not bode well for overclocking

I'm not impressed, as it is, it's much closer to a GD45-M than it is to a ROG Gene model. :wallbash:

The full ATX Sniper 3 looks good though... 10x SATA, dual LAN, all USB3 on backpanel, mSATA slot, headphone amp, buttons, debugger, quad SLI/fire support...

Man I wish the gigabyte CEOs would get it into their skull that we want THOSE features on mATX, not just the fancy sticker.
