Price of DDR RAM

    Is it just me or is the price of DDR Ram unusually high? I was looking at getting 2x512MB PC3200 but with prices starting about £139.98 for crucial I think I'm going to leave it for a bit. Does anyone know why prices are so high at the moment? Does it look likely that they'll fall again? :eyebrow:

    Yep ram has gone up. wait a few months prop become real cheap in the summer.

    it's gonna keep going up at the moment I'm afraid...

    There is a shortage of the actual mem chips. Good chips which run tight timings are hard to find, and you have to pay a premium for them unfortunately.
