I can't say I play this type of game usually (I'm a FPS player normally) but it is a wicked game with some hard moves that are needed to progress. I played it till completion and it was worth every effort.
    Anyone else played it?

based in ancient persia, you do something bad by mistake and turn everyone to zombies. You need to try and fix things by running around in your castle avoiding traps + fighting zombies.

for a not ****e description look here

The game was absolutely amazing for its time.

Remember the fat guard? I Remember being utterly amazed at his speed - just as you were thinking that all the previous gards are simply getting a tad tougher and changing uniform colour, along comes the fatso samo like guard and you were fighting for your life.

Scary skeletons and the ghost and ever more increasingly manically long jumps and cross screen leaps of faith. Really ingenious level design that after a basic start just kept getting better.

My gf is currently playing through this and got to 33% on a point called 'There's something glowing up there.'.

The puzzle requires you to push a statue against the wall pressure pad, run jump to hit another and run over another on the floor (or have the annoying bint standing on it - it's in a shallow pool) and then you leg it through three now open doors and turn a crank thing. Problem is, on her game, even though the woman is standing on the pressure pad in the pool the third door will not bloody open. It's definitely a bug as I've checked numerous FAQs on how to do this level. She's had to start again it's very annoying. Has anyone else come across this?

I've just bought myself a playstation, and have been playing this (POP-SoT) continuously all day. Brilliant game, which perefectly captures the spirit of the original game (which I'm sure I still have on disk somewhere for the PC).

And yes, you can control time in the game, but can you hell as like in real life. The hours just fly by! :eeek: :D

I just finished it (playstation 2), one of the best games i ever played, i was just wondering if anyone knows how to unlock prince of persia 1? i thought you'd just have to complete the game, but that didn't work.

also K; a similar thing happened to me later on in the game. I'd stand on a platform that was supposed to raise when i stood on it, first time it did, but for some reason after that it wouldn't do it any more. unfortunatly the only way i got round it was to wait for my brother to get to the same part of the game and steal his save, but if you can't do that then as you're only 33% in i'd start again :sigh:

Very annoying. Alas though, we started again. Now she's on the last level.

There was also a point in the library I think it was, where after the save point the silly woman kept falling in a spike pit continuously. No idea why, but after about 5 reloads and running over to her she didn't fall in.

Some tragic bugs there that should've been caught in playtesting... Still a great game though.
