    Hi AGAIN,

Can someone guide me to the cheapest way of making printed circuit borads (the ones where you have to dip in acid, is there not another way as the acid baths are like £200)

Im sick of PCBs, they make life so difficult!!! :wallbash:

I don't know where you're getting the acid but at the RadioShack nearest me the acid is about 5 bucks for a bottle that apeared to be about 30 ounces or so.

Yeah but what else do you need as well as acid, it soon all mounts up

hmm, you only need a plastic tray with the acid. cost about £2 plus the copper board, which is pretty cheap.

or stripboard which is cheap as well

as I said, Google is your friend. Just search for "PCB etching", and find the toner-on-glossy-paper method, its everywhere.

or I could be much more friendly and helpful and point you here! Sorry for being an arse earlier

    all teh best

Search our forum and you'll find loads on PCBs

You can buy a started kit from Mappers for £17ish You get a tray, ferric cloride, marker pen and 5 copper clad boards.

    Look at this

You'll need some rubber gloves and plastic tongs as well

PS veterlation is a must and it may be a little cold to do it in the garage/shed at the moment :hehe:
