A PCB is printed, that's why it's called a printed circuit board I've only done this once at school so IIRC it goes like this: What you do is design the circuit and print it onto acetate paper. You then get the PCB and peel off the protective covering and stick your mask on and put it in a UV light box for around 2 mins. Then you remove the mask and pop it in a bubble etch tank. When it comes out give the tracks a rub over with iron wool and drill it for your components etc. and that's it
Its also in a sticky above this post! http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37519 'doc
If making them yourself sounds like too much bother, then there are plenty of companies that you can pay to do it. Prices vary, but if you want something fairly simple, then nobody comes close to matching Olimex's prices. If you're only going to be making 3 or 4 boards a year, then getting them done for you is likely to be less fuss and less costly than buying chemicals and equipment.
for US or UK... i see that ur in Yorkshire, if im not mistaken thats in England... im in the US so if its UK only its no good. im probally just gonna make them myself.
They're in Bulgaria, take credit cards and post to anywhere in the world! You could also try http://www.custompcb.com/, they're in Malaysia, and also take CCs and post worldwide. They're more expensive though. If you want someone more local, there are a number of places in the US that will do 1 offs, but you'll pay a lot more.
