Is there any way to crack them? I have about 5 important folders that were made private that I can't access. (lost my login)
Make sure you turn off simple file sharing then right click on the folder, click sharing and security, then go to the security tab and click advanced. on the new window, click on owner, then select your user name as the new owner. easy peasy! you need to be an administrator though I think There are other ways which just bypass the ntfs security altogether but this is the quickest.
