i have been having a serious problem with my other computer lately, when i turn on the system, the light on the monitor will not change from yellow to green, but all te dsrives will power on and the fans will go on.

    my system is
    Abit ic7max3 mobo
    p4 2.5ghz b
    512 mb ddr333 ram
    ati 9600xt
    a 60 gb wd hdd
    creative sound card
    a dell 17 inch monitor
    antec 550 watt psu

i know that the gfx card and monitor work, as i have tested them in another computer. what could be the cause of this. i have tried reseting my cmos, but that yeilds nothing.

Check your ram. Take it out and put it back in. Try it in a different computer.
