So, I've had this Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 for a few years now and it sees use on and off. Well, I recently got ahold of X2: The Threat and the joystick woulc be a great asset here. So I dig it out of its spot in my closet, dust it off a bit, and plug it right in. Windows 2000 detects it and everything seems coposetic. I plugged in the power cord and the joystick centers up like its suppose to. At this point, I open up Game Options in the Control Panal. The joystick is there, properly identified, and listed as OK status. I open the joystick properties and go to test. Absolutly nothing works. The computer recieves no input what so ever. I run the calibration and its the same story. It acts like the thing isn't there.

Well, I googled around for a bit and checked out microsofts support crap. Found nothing useful. Till now, this thing has always worked great. I'm out of ideas at this point
