    Hello,

    I have a 6600 GT AGP Leadtek(with detonator 66.93) on a P4 1.7 Ghz , mainboard ABIT BD7 RAID, and 256 DDR (266 MHZ).
The games work really nice with full detail (colin mcrae05, racedriver2, doom3) but NFS UG2 works really really slow, no matter what resolution i-d be in. (really low fps, around 10, on 800x600,full detail). if i set to low detail, an improvment can be seen , but still the game is sluggish. I know there should be more ram to fix this, but i've seen the game work well on pc's with fx 5700 , and 256 ram.
-i downloaded the patch from them, installed it, no improvment
    ftp://ftp.ea.com/pub/ea/patches/nfsu2/US/NFSUG2V1-1US.EXE
-i enlargened the swap files to 512-1024 on all disk partitions nothing
-i set the AGP apperture size to 128 nothing

what else can i do? :wallbash: until i get more ram.
Also the colours look a bit funny, dark, but i know this has to be the game itself.
can anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

have you got Anti-Aliasing set to max when you say full detail? if so turn that off, as it's most likely using SuperSampling Anti-Aliasing (which is very very slow) at the top setting in the game's control panel.
