hey guys i am having troble understanding how cpc's q6600@3.4 ghz beats my q6600@3.75 in the benhmarks and by quite a distance as well there overall score was 1392 and my was 1263

the only difference in the two systems is are motherboards and the ram there ram is clocked at 1066mhz mine is at 840mhz

so what is up with my q6600 can't think of anything which could be draning so much performace

The multithreading test thrives on fast RAM, IIRC. Motherboards can make a substantial difference in the tests too. Image editing requires a nippy hard drive and plenty of RAM.

Try a defrag before your first run, then try another run after. Disable all unnecessary processes too. That might boost your scores.
