when i play games i have some bluring and flickering while my character is moving, its blury on grass and desert textures mostly and when i drag windows on the desktop they blur aswell. specs: amd 3800+ 1gb ram 7800gtx 256
Try updating your graphics card's drivers by downloading the latest version from the manufacturer's website (that'll be ATi or NVIDIA). Are you using an LCD monitor? P.S. Please don't double post - you can't expect a reply instantly. If you don't get a response within 2 or 3 days, feel free to make another post to "bump" the thread, but only within reason.
Is it overclocked or running at stock speeds? If stock, then I'll agree with hitman... get a driver update before you investigate further... no piece of hardware has driver update releases as frequently as GPUs. Whatever one you're running, I bet there's a newer one, and it may be a problem already well reported, and fixed in a later release. I've not read anything that leads me to believe that, but a driver update should always be your first port of call when diagnosing a hardware problem.
i am runing the latest card drivers from nvidia, i am using a 4ms samsung lcd screen i have tried re-installing drivers 3 times now but it hasnt seemed to fix the problem. it is not overclocked. i have also noticed that when i drag windows on my desktop they blur a bit.
Has it always been like this, or have you only just got the card, or hs it only just started happening?
i think it has been happening for quite a while but i didnt think much to it as i had a rubbish monitor. i replaced that and the problem was still there :'(
