Hi, I seem to be having a recurring problem with .rar files. (which I've downloaded) I am downloading them with eMule in which it is possible to preview them before they're finished. I have found that this works fine - all the complete files are displayed and useable. However, I have found that when the file is completely downloaded and unzipped using WinAce they only include a couple of small files (eg, 1 small PDF from a 150MB file). anyone else had this problem? and more importantly, has anyone got a solution? thanks for all your help.
Tried updating your package tools? I had a similar problem a while ago when still using WinRAR 2.91, before updating to WinRAR 3.
Are you using winrar to extract them? Winace has problems with .rar archives, and winrar has its own repair function which is often needed for large downloaded archives.
