I want to add my name (or something else) to some faceplates for CD-ROM drives that I am making out of aluminum. Where can I have this done, and how much would it cost?

Could I do it myself, and have it look good?

Go to any Mall, look for a 'Precious moments' store. They have a CNC Engraver and they don't charge very much.

    OR

    A jewlery store.

    Cheap engraving

Another place you can look for is "Things Remembered." There is one in just about every mall down here in Texas, though I'm not sure about NY. They claim to be national.

You can always hop on over to the Things Remembered website and click "store locator." Type in your zip code and see if there is one in your local area.

The downside is that they only have a handful of fonts, and I don't know wheter or not they'll let you supply one.
