I've been wanting to do this casemod for the last 4 years, but no case has been suitable. The closest was the Silverstone TJ08. It meets all my requirements, except for the one which needs it to hold full ATX. Of course, this changed not too long ago with the release of the Lian Li A-05. Very small, holds a ton of hardware, full sized heatsinks, and is quite cheap (by Lian Li standards).

Hardware that's going into it, unless I buy something new in the meantime:
AMD Opteron 146 + Scythe Infinity
    Asus a8n-sli
    eVGA E-Geforce 7800GT (470/1100) + Thermalright HR-03
    4x512 DDR ram
    3 hdd's (Maybe I'll just get a single big sata, so i don't have to deal with a pata and 2 sata's.
Sunbeam NUUO 550w (I'm really uncomfortable about using this psu in such a small case. I might buy something else)

And of course, a Lian Li A 05

Since the A05 is so new, I couldn't find any sketch-ups for it, so I spent an hour and made one:

    Another view:

    And another one:

The right sidepanel (upside down case) will have a small rectangular window with rounded corners, and in handwriting, "a fine day to die", engraved into the case (or cut into the case).

Input: I need to know which of the handwriting will fit this mod properly. I like #3, but it's not too suited for the style of case. Too happy.

Also, if anyone can find me a good handwriting font that would match this case, I'd love them long time.

Liking this idea, and for your font question, I'd suggest you take a look at www.dafont.com and look for handwritten fonts. I guess you will be able to find one there suited for your case.

    GL with your modding :dremel:

Thanks for the link. I've added some more for judging. Thing is, the font can't be too 'happy'. Handwriting is a must, too. I have the PERFECT font out, but my scanner is broken.

The question is, what emotion are you doing for:
    • Disturbed
    • Maniacal
    • Depressed
    • Mildly annoyed
    • Matter of fact

I'd lean more towards #7, but then I dont think its perfect, it needs to be more... evil, gothic, japanese... something along those lines.

    lucky number 7

it looks like the loops on some of the a's don't connect, so it would be easy to cut that into the case and not worry about the center of the letter (since you mentioned possibly cutting it into the case). could do something similar to the o's and e's. would look real nice backlit.
